Birth Doula Services
Birth Doula Package Includes:
Initial Interview
I believe that every woman deserves control over her birth experience. What that experience will be is different for each woman and if I cannot help provide that, I will help you find someone who can. This is a no-obligation meeting and is a time for us to talk about what your vision is for your birth and how I might best be able to help you achieve that vision. We will go over the contract and discuss my fees at this time.
Unlimited Phone Calls and Emails
I am available throughout your pregnancy to answer questions or just talk.
Prenatal Visits
I will provide 2 prenatal visits. They are individualized to meet your needs and your schedule.
24 Hour On Call Availability
I am available 24/7 during your on-call time, which starts two weeks before your due date and continues until your birth.
Labor Support
I am with you continuously throughout your labor and birth.
Initial Postpartum
After the birth of your new bundle of joy, I will stay for up to 2 hours postpartum. I will help with initial breastfeeding, baby care, and help mom and dad get comfortable.
Postpartum Visit
I will come to your home about one week after the birth to see how you and your baby are doing. However, I'm available by email and phone for breastfeeding support anytime.
Availability Calendar
Your investment in Birth Doula services is $700 and includes all of the above components. I require a deposit of $200 at the time of booking and the balance is due four weeks before your due date. I think everyone should be able to have a doula, therefore I have payment options available. If this is more than you think you need, scroll down to check out the option of having a birth preparation consultation. If you hire me for a consultation and then decide to upgrade to the birth doula package, any money you have paid for the consultations, up to $125, will be applied toward the doula fee.

Birth Preparation Consultations
This is a private one-on-one session with a certified birth doula to discuss how to build a birth plan, what to include and how to discuss the plan with your care provider.
We’ll cover your unique labor and delivery needs: Plans for pain management and the options available to you, stages of labor and what to expect, common procedures and when and why they’re preformed. We’ll also discuss choices in childbirth and how to make an informed decision, everything from inductions to VBAC’s to newborn vaccinations and homebirth and all that lie in between.
I provide an abundance of information on the pros vs cons, risks vs benefits of the choices available in childbirth so families have the resources to make informed decisions before during and after their births.
This time is intended for families who may not want a doula in their labor room, but want all the benefits of a doula's knowledge. This time is not intended to replace a traditional childbirth education course, but rather be an extension and customization of what you learned.
Newly pregnant moms and partners are encouraged to use this service to explore the options available to them so they can make informed choices throughout their pregnancy.
My aim is to provide fact-based information so that all families can feel empowered to have an emotionally satisfying birth experience. Partner is strongly encouraged to participate.
Clients will have full email and phone availability until the birth of their baby for any further questions or concerns they need to discuss.
